Quasi Immortal
The Chosen: 10% of Elwion born attain Immortality through a transitional stage of death, similar to dark star, with Geis (WoD-Way of Death). Their way of death is imprisonment in any dark place without a window to sunlight and fresh air. Some Elwion can succumb to excessively cruel treatment by losing their will to live. They are also vulnerable to utter destruction. Elwion NEED fresh air and sunlight. Their Souls are Protected by their Gods. Intelligent, though with some, their intelligence is of an animalist nature.

Primal Behavior: Elwion are very animalistic in their behavior, and very few break away from their primal habits, this makes them socially inept with many people unless they overcome it
Race almost Extinct: Can only procreate children with their own kind
Quasi-Immortal: those Elwion who are quasi-immortal can suffer death by mortal wounds. Self Healers: those who are immortal are self-healers, and cannot be healed by magic.
Blood Endowments: certain abilities this race can pass on through their blood has led to their near extinction. This is a result of the Arcanus believing that the Elwion's ability to bestow incredible strengths through their blood to those who exploit them, is a threat to the essential balance between immortal kinds which rely on blood. It is possible that if others discover the power their blood can pass on that others may be of the same mind as the Arcanus.
Wing Penalty in Water: Elwion's wings weigh them down when they get wet and can cause drowning if a spell if not used to repell water from their wings. Does not apply to Sea Elwion, see Elwion Branches below.

Immunity Benefaction: Their blood is prized by vampires and demons alike for the permanent immunities it grants to sunlight and blood banes. One must drain the Elwion 10 + times to attain immunities.

Blood Perks: Aside from the "Incredible High" their blood affects the taker, it also increases speed, strength, quick healing, and overall acuity up to 10X temporarily, the duration from 30 minutes to one hour dependent on the amount of blood consumed and the power of the taker.

Side Effects:
1- Their blood is very addictive. Their blood becomes addictive to even the strongest willed vampires or blood drinkers within 8 feedings, less for weaker vampires or blood drinkers.

2- If more than two pints is ingested, it compels the consumer to grow mad with blood lust whereby the Elwion is often done severe damage. Though such treatment will not kill them, it does traumatize them and put them at risk of emotional injury.

Blood Information:
The flavor of their blood has been likened as "The best Nectar ever to warm cold veins."
To gain permanent immunities, a vampire/demon must feed from them 10 + times, and drain them dry. Their blood will tap out shortly after it becomes bitter sweet.
The temporary ability increases last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how strong the taker is, and how much blood they consumed.
Their blood becomes addictive to even the strongest willed vampires within 8 feedings, less for weaker vampires.
If their blood is "tapped out" their greatest treasures imbibe the taker as the Elwion's 'immortal ichor' is consumed. The flavor is like honeysuckle. Just what those supreme gifts are remains a secret until that blood is tapped by a taker.

Their flesh is prized by demons, lycanthrope, dragons, and any flesh eater, as the filet mignon of the multiverses.

Physical Immunities: Their body and blood rejects alien body fluids, and while their blood is immune to the siring effects of vampire and demon blood, their blood's binding power is absorbed into their soul to create a "Spiritual Bond." This "Blood to Soul Bonding" can only be removed if their master either dies, or sets them free.
On Tap Out: Blood becomes bitter sweet and then VERY sweet as their honeysuckle flavored ichor is tapped, which grants fantastic powers to the imbiber if tap out occurs 8 or more times.

Elwion Shadow Weaver
These powers can be learned in any order and levels can be added to chosen powers.
Protective
Cloak of Shadows: protective cloak which conceals those selected to be hidden.
Dead Realms Shield: shadows called up from the dead realms conceals shadow weaver in a necromantic field which drains life if contacted.
Shadowy Reaver: dispells, disenchants, disjoins and nulls magic weaves by pulling powers into shadow plane.
Command Selection: Allows for selection of who is and who is not affected by commands.
Abyssal Void: Vacuuous void which engulfs and extinguishes opposing energies.
Shadow Phase: Phase into shadows.
Shadow Form: takes no damage from physical attacks.
Shadow Planar: shadow door, gate, passage and Walk
Eclipse Light: can Protect sun and heat intolerant races, vampires or others who are ill affected the light or sunlight.
Shadow Ward: hides selected persons within a selected area such as a camp and forms anti-matter field under attack. Can be made Permanent.
Shadow Fall: captures someone into shadows and phases them safely to a selected area of ground.
Abyssal Cloak: total concealment with anti-detection and true sight, and 100% MR while cloaked, no combat magic while cloaked.
Combative
Abyssal Strike: Sphere of Abyssal energy strikes target to drain life and stamina.
Black Sephulcher: entombs and binds target into a black sephulcher of shadows.
Abyssal Fissure: black fissure opens beneath target/s to pull them into a plummeting decent with a strong vacuuous force, the ground then closing around them as shadows disperse to crush them.
Shadow Binding: binds person in shadows to hold them half in and out of the material realm.
Shadowy Rest: causes sleep.
Dead Realms Vapors: drains strength, stamina and life, -1, -1 per ace.
Shadow Touch: chills and Drains Health to damage, if one is touched too long they begin to decompose rapidly.
Engulf: stuns for -1 AR, -1 per ace, and does aggravated damages in radius of up to +1 yard per stamina spent.
Dark Riposte: shadowy aura aids in defensive counter attacks, acts as armor and imbibes weapons to damage and drain stamina -1 whenever elwion blocks. Level +20 = AC and damage.
Great Zombie Companion: summons a great zombie which will act as a loyal albeit emotionless companion to the shadow weaver. See Bestiary for stats. If the zombie is killed, stamina can be spent to summon another. Zombie can stay with Elwion until it is killed, or be returned to the Dead Realms on command, but stamina must be spent to summon companion again. Level of zombie = Level of this power.
Information
The Elwion race is an ancient, primitive race of elves that have beastial traits. They are very tribal and animalistic in their behavior. They dwelled only on the world of Congoril, a jungle planet with three moons, until a small number of them traveled to Morashtar. The planet was rich in resources which attracted invaders from other worlds who would often use one of the moons as a base camp, its surface barren but inhabitable. As forests were destroyed by miners {diggers} and loggers {cutters} deforestation pushed the jungle tribes further and deeper into the jungles. The Jungle Elwion, like all other branches but the Sea Elwion, were immune to blood siring by creatures, a defense which made their blood very valuable to demon and vampiric races for the powers it passed on to them, and the incredible flavor, their blood addictive to blood and flesh imbibing races. The only other Elwion pride the Arcanus were aware of were the Sea Elwion, who had not the blood immunities of the jungle tribes. A violent storm accompanied the invasion of a terrible Vampiric race, creatures which possessed such an evil presence as struck fear in the hearts of all Congoril. The Arcanus had discovered the wealth of their planet and the powers of the Elwion blood and aspired to destroy this race before other vampires discovered the granted traits of their blood. They kept a few as blood bond slaves, and slew all the rest of the Jungle, Mountain, and Sea Elwion. Because the Arcanus hated the sun, the desert Elwion escaped their eye altogether, as did the Arctic Elwion because of their climate. Some Mountain Elwion were able to hide from them for a time in the rugged mountains they inhabited, but in time they were all hunted down and killed, or captured. Unknown also to the Arcanus; two small groups of the Elwion escaped, by magical gates. One group was of the sea Elwion pride, the others of the Jungle pride, two of them the King's own sons, and in hasty departure they fled so each group was ignorant of the other. Of the four Jungle Elwion only two are known to have survived, the brothers Rowan Tirowen and Gaelorn Tirowen, and of the six sea Elwion, one alone survived in a vampiric attack to be reborn as an Astraeus Vampire of Valis Urik's blood; his name Vaeren Ruindor.
The Arcanus controlled the breeding of the Elwion they held captive as blood slaves, and of those captive bred Elwion, Ementarris was born, with the blood of his mother Hildanna, a healer, and the blood of his father Hestoria, a shadow weaver in his blood, he was born as one of the chosen who on their coming of age awaken into their immortal being. A Noctmaire party freed the Elwion from slavery many thousands of years after the first had been captured and bonded to their masters, and sent them to dwell in the Southland forests of the Shadowlands, but the Arcanus were very possessive of what belonged to them, and what they placed their efforts into. Again they came in the night and on the winds of a great tempest, and of the ten Elwion who were taken from the Arcanus, four were killed with all but two of their new children. Ementarris killed his own Arcanus master and gathered the shadows to escape through their weave. He took with him two females, Aelwyr, who was twelve years in age, and Morcheanna, who was fifteen. The great Lord, Aurelius Ambrosious of the Shadowlands, found the three near the Lake of Shadows Inn and took the females under his protection, while the Elwion Shadow Weaver begged for his freedom. Freedom once tasted was a hard thing to let go of, and the Dark Lord agreed to free him alone while he kept the females under his protection. He had already two of the free living Elwion under his reign, Vaeren who served him as a Knight, and Gaelorn as a Knight Errant. Ementarris went his own way and now travels to various realms through shadows folds, seeking his own destiny, his immunities from detection preventing the Arcanus from tracking him by preternatural and necromantic means.
Elwion Branches:
There are six branches of Elwion. Hair, wing, and skin color distinguishes them in appearance from one another. They often have dreadlocks. It is where they live and some physiological differences, not their appearance however, which determines their branch. Their wings are always the same color as their hair and their hair is silky soft. The fur on their wings is as soft of milkweed down and dense on top and like mole skin underneath. Their claws range from; grey, black, cream, or flesh pink.
Jungle Elwion: There are three free Jungle Elwion in existence, Morcheanna, Gaelorn, and Rowan. Light brown skin; hair color is brunette, black, chocolate, or twilight blue. Hair is dense and wavy or curly and they have grey, silver or light brown eyes. Their wings are the same color as their hair.
Sea Elwion: Their is only one free Sea Elwion in existance, his name Vaeren Ruindor and he was sired as an Astraeus Vampire by Valis Urik accidently. There are 37 Sea Elwion remaining which are enslaved to the Arcanus. They are the only Elwion which can be sired. Blonde, honey, or platinum colored hair, bronze skin. Their wings are the same color as their hair. All sea Elwion have wings which repell water telekinetically. They have no penalty when swimming.
Mountain Elwion: There are two free Mountain Elwion in existence, a female named Aelwyr and a male named Ementarris. These Elwion have black, dark brown, or auburn curly hair and amber, umber, or sienna colored eyes. Their wings are the same color as their hair. The Arcanus hold 103 Mountain Elwion in slavery, all of them immortal. They kill any Mountain Elwion who never make the immortal quickening in an attempt to breed an immortal race of blood providers.
Desert Elwion: The desert Elwion have escaped the Arcanus' notice, for the Arcanus abhor the sun. These Elwion are dark skinned, ranging from coffee colored to an earthy sienna. Their hair is either black with auburn highlights and wiry but very soft, or jet black and straight or curly. Their eyes are caramel, black, dark blue, or dark green. Their population world wide varies at around 90,000 give or take with births and deaths. These Elwion live in caves, or fortresses they dig out of the sand beneath the desert dunes. Their wings are the same color as their hair.
Arctic Elwion: Many of the Elwion living on the far northern and southern continents of Rus Nehsis and Dumaus Shubainis have also escaped notice by the Arcanus because of their remote locations and the harsh climates they inhabit. There are approximately 10,000 Elwion in the south, and 8000 in the north. These Elwion have very fair skin and are blonde with shades of red, plantinum, gold, silver, and ginger. Their eyes are light blue, light grey, or light green (mint or yellow-green).
Glacier Elwion: There is a slightly albino branch of Arctic Elwion which inhabit ice caves. They are called Glacier Elwion and are Ice Cave Dragon riders. They have lavender, rose, or extremely pale blue eyes and white skin and platinum blonde, white, or flaxen colored hair. Their wings are the same color as their hair. Many sea faring Arctic and Glacier Elwion learn a spell called Repell Water which they cast on their wings, or on their non-magic weilding sea-mates' wings with permancy factors. If this spell is disjoined however, they will sink if they are in water over their heads.
