Strength: Level + 10.
Fortitude: Level + 16
Stamina: Level + 18
Movement: 12, +1 natural quickness per level up to 20.
Intelligence: human intelligence.
Regeneration: base level +6, add bonuses
Venom: Level + 30, +30 aggravated damage per turn until venom is purged, venom sacks empty after 3 attacks and it takes one hour for them to refill.
Tail Stinger: level +10 aggravated damage for +1, +1 turns per ace, causes massive swelling -1 AR each round until healed, strength vs.armour piercing
Claws: Level = damage.
Bite: Level + 16 = damage, +3 AR venom per hour. Spines: +5
Tentacles: +5 pierce, +8 sting each, aggravated damage.
Rage: +2 HB, -2 AR defense, +1 init, acolytes shift into demon form when enraged.

Advantages

Unlimited Resurrections: These demons can self-resurrect in 8 hours until they meet their way of death. WoD varies from demon to demon; It is always a special physical death.
Immunities: Immune to fire, cold, bacteria, disease, arcane, mental powers, and charms
Unique Telepathy: special path with Mind Reading, immunity to mental blocks. The only way cricket demons can communicate speech (in demon form) is telepathically but they understand any language they learn perfectly. They can manipulate various improvised telepathic commands at will at level 20, success dependant on a successful intelligence check vs. LoD (=level) of formulation.
Way of Death (WoD): This varies but is always physical. Some must die from beheading, others from electrocution, others from holistic destruction of body, etc. Choose one physical way of death (with GM approval).
All Around Vision: +6 vision vs. stealth attacks, +1 init vs. stealth attacks.

Disadvantages

Flight 0 Stealth: very loud in flight, like a giant insect due to rapid wing beats.
Hideous Demon Form: the average person is repulsed by the sight of this demon and demon slayers or others may attack it on sight.
WoD: whatever way of death they have is a disadvantage to them.
Low Regeneration: compared to most demons

Diet: Fresh meat and vital organs, carcasses, any kind of meat, fresh or rotten. Fresh meat is a special treat for them.

Cricket Demon

Siring and Forms

    This demon has no human form or subrace form if they are first generation. The first two cricket demons ever created by Abbadon are Archeue (ar-kA-yU) and Niskama (nEs-kah-mah). Cricket Demons can sire acolytes by killing them and then resurrecting them with their blood. They cannot possess and only ever sire fighters of chaotic, neutral, or evil alignments. They are brutal fighters and those which are sired turn locust-brown in color and have leathery flesh, even in subrace form, and only ever take demon form when enraged or engaging to fight. All Cricket Demons, sired or not, are temperamental. Once acolytes take demon form they are very aggressive and hostile until they shift back to subrace form. There are numerous clans of cricket demons, each called (1st gen's) Legion. All of these legions combined are called Abbadon's Legions which includes all cricket demons, sired or live-born. Each clan legion is defined by a first generation general and their descendants. These family legions are commanded by the eldest members, who answers to the rulers. Their legion ranks and hierarcy are military. Archeue's line for example is called Archeue's Legion.

    King: Abbadon
    Generals: 1st gen of each ancestral line.
    Overlords: allies which Abbadon lends his legions' support to.

    Division Ranks
    Marshal: eldest in ancestral division beneath the general.
    Captain: eldest son or daughter of the marshal
    Commander: eldest son or daughter of the captain
    Warlord: eldest son or daughter of the commander.
    Warriors: eldest fighters
    Fighters: yougest fighters
    Novices: those still training to become fighters.

Information

    These demons were created from crickets, locusts and beasts by flesh crafters but they have little in common with insects, other than having ravenous appetites, multiple eyes and breeding like insects. They lay eggs (3-9) rather than giving birth to live young and can only breed with one another. Sired females who are fertilized must remain in demon form until their eggs are laid in one month or risk death (50% chance). The young grow incredibly fast once they hatch, maturing at a rate of one week to each human year. It takes three days for the eggs to hatch and young from subraces cannot take subrace form until the are between 4 and 6 weeks = human years in age.

    Cricket Demons are extremely tough, and can inflict a lot of damage with their bite, claws, and brutal strength. They are very quick with long powerful legs and can inject venom with their bite, and sting with various tentacle-like appendages. They are quite large and muscular, anywhere from 10-12 feet tall standing upright and have powerful insect-like wings which fold down against their body like a locust's. They have a mouth full of dangerous teeth and heavy, sharp claws. These demons will only obey their master Abbadon and the elders who answer to him, so their legion is controlled by Abbadon and whoever he offers his loyalities to.

    All young have level 0 and gain levels as they learn with a 35% luck roll for getting out of things until they stop aging. All young are taught to fight as soon as they have motor control and educated in reading, speaking (telepathically and orally if from a sired line) various native languages, lore, and history. Some learn math. If young are passive or poor fighters they are eaten by the eldest member of their legion.
