The First Pentacle of Angels Fallen

Fallen Powers :: Levels 6-44

These are the Tsetar who become corrupted, who embrace the Morning Star and Acheron's servants as their Lords, or who fall or are cast into Acheron's great Pit. They become the Khorumal, or forsaken ones. As Tsetar become the forsaken, they cease to be Tsetar and become Khorumal owed to the corruptive forces which reshape and infuse them.

First Hierarchy
The Dark Fallen: These are the Khorumal who fell with Lucifer. There are nine of them and they are among the highest order of fallen angels.

Second Hierarchy
The Fallen Horsemen: These are the Khorumal who once served Haman as the pale riders, or the four horsemen of destruction. There are only four of these angels. They were the heralds of Yajmha's wrath. Acheron keeps a tight rein on these angels, whose tempers or judgment can devesate a world.

Third Hierarchy
The Fallen: These are the Khorumal of the second, third and final rebellion who were cast out or fell into Acheron after Lucifer was cast down with the Dark Fallen.

Fourth Hierarchy
The Formless Ones (B): Among the Khorumal are the Beqidum (bA-kE-dUm) 'Formless Ones', who for their extreme disobedience to Yajhma, were cast into the pit without a form. There are nine of these bodiless angels. The greatest power of the Beqidum is possession, and it can do so from spirit, or by touch. Each Beqidum commands its own unique powers (see Acheron Page). By spirit it's possession is far more powerful (by +4 d6). The Beqidum can then control its host, and can wreak a great deal of havoc doing so if the formless one is evil, mischievous, or corruptive. If the host dies, the Beqidum leaves it and seeks another, but can only survive outside of the body or Pit for 10 minutes. The host cannot remember being possessed. The Formless ones dwell by the ruins of Abaddon's Fortress, as shadows of their former selves, and can only leave the pit if the Morning Star or a Prince of Acheron sets one of them loose. They must possess a body quickly once Acheron is behind them, or risk perishing. Whatever they possess, beit animal or sentient, they become physically, while their spirit commands their host's will and deeds. When they abandon a host, the host has no memory whatsoever of being possessed.

Should a formless one perish, the next Maldezar angel reborn of the pit takes it place. This cruel curse is called The Ten Damned of the Abyss. Always there are ten.

Fifth Hierarcy
Arch Devils: angels which fell or were cast into the abyss to become powerful devils instead of angels of the pit. Arch Devils were reshaped physically by the abyss but later some of them learned to shift into their former shape, or other forms, including more human, or human ones.

Sixth Hierarcy
Angels of the Pit: these dark angels are called Malduzar or Infernal Angels. Malduzar can occur from any fallen angel which grows extremely bitter, angry, hostile, or cold hearted. They can also result when Haman casts an angel into the abyss. The crushing black of the abyss embraces and changes these angels into soul devouring creatures of Acheron; the bitter cold fires of the abyss consuming their body and soul before spitting them back out again on the ruins of a fortress, where once a great keep stood within the depths of the pit. The fortress belonged to the ruler of the Abyss, Abaddon, and is called the Ruins of Abaddon. Abdiel destroyed the fortress when he was cast into the pit in a fit of rage and despair, until Abaddon himself appeared, and soothed him, paying no mind to the ruination of his fortress, as he welcomed the fallen angel as his brother. Angels of the Pit are marked by The Morning Star's seal of possession as they are reborn out of the Abyss of Acheron. Push come to shove, those marked by him cannot disobey him if he imposes his will on them. The Morning Star alone can remove his mark of souls. The mark is some form of pentagram, at times a Baphomet pentagram, or one entwined with snakes, or dragons. Only Khorumal of True Chaotic or Evil alignments are reborn as Malduzar and devour souls.

Infernal Demons - The antitheses of the Angels.

Ninth Hierarchy
Infernal Paragons: Angel hybrids called Se'phaiel (sA-fI-el) born out of androgynous fallen angels and a male demon, devil, vampire, fallen angel, or monster of Acheron.

Tenth Hierarchy
Paragons: Angel hybrids called Seraphir born out of androgynous first pentacle angels and a male immortal.
