Stats: Strength-28, Mvm-28, Dex-28, Claws+15, Bite+50-Jaw Strength 36. Lifespan of upward to 300 years.
Information: Giant Badger-like animal which lives in deep woods areas such as the Primal or Eternal wilderlands. Larger than lions and as irrascible as any Snargrig, these beasties are cream underneath with brown fur and black stripes down their heads masking their eyes, striped all the way to the tips of their bushy tails. These intelligent animals dig out and live in large burrows within family groups. The young move out on their own when ready, and some may even remain with their parents unless driven off. Dangerous to encounter in the wild, but if hand raised from week old babies, can make excellent pets and guard animals, with a natural instinct to protect family and territory. Friendly to anyone if raised kindly unless their own family unit is threatened. If raised under stressful conditions or inadequately, they can turn on an incompetent caretaker. In the wild they react aggressively towards people who get within clear visual range. Very hostile if provoked, at what time they go for the throat and gut. Omnivorous, they hunt all kinds of tasty smaller animals, grubs, insects, mushrooms, vegetation and fruit. They will kill larger animals that threaten them. Natives often observe these omnivores to learn what is good to eat.
